· Kittie returns from their debut album much, much angrier than before. In fact, despite the first album's aggressive tone, the band spews venom over the tracks with a brutal passion on this one. That does not always translate into great songs, as the disc opener, "Oracle," proves with its repetitive pounding that definitely sounds angry, but /10(39).

In the "What I Always Wanted," a man sees some coins in a river and picks them up, but goes deeper to collect more coins. Eventually, he is in over his head and weighed down by the coins - a parable for greed. This song marked the first Kittie release without guitarist Fallon Bowman, who left the band after their first album.
Kittie se la rifa!!
If you want something brutal, buy some death metal albums, this band has potential, the vocals are good but the rest needs to be brushed up severely. Aside from the interesting artwork in the booklet, this album hasn't much to offer, so if you're not a big Kittie fan, steer clear from this album. 2/5.
